String Boot Camp

The Thrive City String Boot Camp is a 10-day intensive retreat for string instrumentalists (intermediate to advanced level), aimed at improving technique and building a strong foundation. In addition to classical training, camp participants also get a chance to experience improvisation, seminars, creative workshops, dance, and other non-classical activities. The camp schedule is a perfect marriage of creativity and technical development. Morning sessions emphasize building and improving a firm technical foundation through technique classes, private lessons, and applied theory; while afternoon sessions focus on developing well-rounded musicianship through improvisation, workshops, and ensembles.
