Junior String Boot Camp

Junior String Boot Camp is a fun, intensive, day camp for novice violinists, violists, cellists, and bassists. In this week-long camp, students will have a blast learning to improve their technique and overall musical knowledge, while being inspired to create music of their own! The camp schedule is a perfect marriage of creativity and technical development. Activities include: technique classes, musical playground (theory games), chamber music, creative workshops, outdoor activities, and more!

RCM/Suzuki Levels 2-5 (students will learn alongside classmates of comparable ability). Students should have a minimum of 2 years experience on their instruments, and should know how to read music.


Junior String Boot Camp takes place at the Delta Community Music School in Delta, BC (Ladner).

Assessment Info

In order to match students with classmates of similar ability, students are required to prepare an assessment video or recording, which must be submitted with this registration form.

Note: This is not an audition. All who register, and fit the eligibility requirements, are admitted into the camp – space permitting. Once this form is filled out, the student is registered to attend Junior String Boot Camp. Confirmation of registration will be sent to the email address provided.

Please follow these instructions:

  1. Record a movement of a solo piece of music that best demonstrates your current ability.
  2. Submit recording/video with this registration form. Cell phone quality videos are acceptable.
